Boxing County lies in northern Shandong plain,the south bank of the Yellow River lower reaches, is located at hinterland of the Yellow River Delta.Belonging to Binzhou ciyt.Covering an area of 900.7 square kilometers, and there are 448 villages under the government of 9 towns, with the total population of 480,000. Bo Xing County in Binzhou is the hometown of Dong Yong, a famous filialson in the Han Dynasty(206 B.C.-220 A.D).Legend has it that Dong Yong sold himself to be a slave in order to get enough money to bury his dead father. Consequently, the seventh daughter of the Jade Emperor in the Heaven, moved by his filial piety, descended to the earth and to become his bride. She worked hard to bur Dong's freedom; but, just as they began to enjoy a happy life together, the Jade Emperor ordered his daughter to return to the Heaven. Thus ,in order to protect her husband, the Seventh Immortal maiden had to part with her husband. This sad, moving love tragedy has long been known to all Chinese people.
