Introduction of Shandong Boxing Economic Development Zone

Shandong Boxing Economic Development Zone, a provincial-level development zone with a planned area of 6,000s.m, was approved for establishment by Shandong Provincial Government in 1994. In 2007, its total industrial output value was RMB7.1billion, and industrial added value was RMB1.58billion, and investment of real estate and infrastructure was RMB500million and RMB170million respectively.
In Shandong Boxing Economic Development Zone, many facilities have been established, including: one national third-grade freight station, one railway special line, whose annual transport volume is 1.8 million tons. And one thermo power plant, one sewage disposal plant, and natural gas and other infrastructure projects are also built, whose investment is RMB154million, RMB 87million and 80 million respectively. And these constitute a perfect infrastructure, with” eight availables—water, electricity, heat, gas, sewage, post, telecommunication, and closed-circuit TV are available; two accessibles—you are accessible to paved roads and leveled ground”, making a solid platform for project development. Now, 136 enterprises have established their existence in the development zone, covering an area of 4200 s.m. Among them, Shandong Bohai Grease, Shandong Xiangchi Grain & Oil are capable to process beans of over 6000 tons per day, and produce oil bearing crops of various kinds of 1,100 tons per day, which form one of the major grains and oils process bases nationwide; China Resource (Boxing ) Oleo chemicals is a major stearic acid, glycerin producer nationwide; Huaxing Machinery is China’s largest Stone-sawing Machine manufacturer, ranking among top 500 in machinery industry of China, and its farm managing machine has been exported to Southeast Asian, South American, African and European markets; Lufeng Aluminum Foil Industrial, equipped with supporting thickness digital control system and board control system imported from USA, whose complicity is of international advanced standards, ranks China’s top 3 of its industry in way of comprehensive strength.
