It is 140 kilometers far from Jinan International Airport, 300 kilometers far from Qingdao International Airport, 160 kilometers far from Tianjin International Airport and 280 kilometers far from Beijing International Airport. Hangda Railway crosses Wudi and there are four stations for cargoes and passengers in Wudi. Weiwu Highway, Jinshan Highway, Binde Highway and many state-level and provincial trunk roads such as the State Road 205, Xinhai Road and Daji Road also cross Wudi. During the Eleventh Five-Year Plan Period (2006-2010), the State will lay more emphasis on the development of Tianjin Binhai New Area. The area is only 80 km. far from Wudi. Thus Wudi is convenient place linking Shandong and Binhai New Area.
